SPRING Singapore partnered with Activants to provide a web-based system, enabling SPRING to improve the collaboration and workflow between assessors for Business Excellence Certifications and Awards.
SPRING Singapore handled the business excellence certification process mostly manually, which was tedious, laborious and prone to errors with information scattered all over the place. The many milestones that are involved in the process added to the complexity of the process and could be a source of problem when one of the milestones was not adhered to.
SPRING Singapore required a system that could automate many of the processes, keep track of the milestone progress and facilitate better collaboration between assessors through a central system.
SPRING Singapore engaged Activants to introduce a web-based system, harnessing technologies to cope with the laborious nature of the processes. The certification process was tricky as it involved many milestones and required meticulous considerations to managing the impact of the downstream processes during the design phase. Similar processes were grouped together to provide for a better process flow. Workflow routing was introduced as a major tool to cope with the repeated routing processes.
